Mount Pilot Child Enrichment Center was founded by Les and Wendi Bennett in 2007. Wendi was a kindergarten teacher at Millennium Charter Academy in Mt Airy, NC for 3 years where she experienced first-hand the need for educating young children before attending public school. Determined their children would be equipped with the knowledge they needed, coupled with Wendis passion for teaching, the idea of starting a daycare was born.
