When my parents, Houston and Grace Jennings,moved with their five children from Alabama toFlorida in 1949, they started sending citrus bytrain, back home to family and friends for theholidays. Well, word quickly spread and sooneveryone wanted them to send Fresh Floridacitrus directly to their homes. My parents eventually decided to go into business. They opened a store in Bushnell, Florida and began shipping fruit across the country. My wife, Deborah, and I began working with them in 1971. Since then, many things have changed. My parents have passed, my children have children of their own, and our business has expanded to include several stores. Still, with all of this change, all of our citrus gifts are carefully hand packed and shipped the same day to ensure that you are getting the freshest, juiciest, most delicious fruit that Florida has to offer.
